Barry was a beacon of hope to anyone with a new injury. He was a leader, veteran, coach, and all around inspiration. More than a patient to me, Barry was a friend. I'll always cherish the laughs we shared in the PT gym. A man of Barry's caliber is hard to come by, and I'm grateful to have known him. And I'm so thankful to have shared dinner with Dee and Barry this summer after Ashley's big game. Those personal conversations meant so much to me then and always will. I'm grateful I was able to tell Barry how important he was to me when I saw him last. To Dee, you are in my thoughts and prayers. You are an amazing woman. Your relationship will remain in my heart as one of the few examples of true love. I'll never forget the time Barry propped his leg up in the gym on a pillow with your wedding picture! Thank you for sharing your stories and words of encouragement. I love you guys. Rest In Peace to the realest, toughest, smartest guy I have ever known, Barry Muth.

Sincerely,
Olivia Tefera

Dee - I am saddened to hear about Barry. I think of you all often and tell stories at work about Barry and his Mt Everest adventure, hand cycling in the MS 150 and the winter games. You, Barry and your family helped me on my journey to become a better rehabilitation physician. May God hold you in his hands in this sad time.

In the years that I have known and worked with Barry, at the Cambridge Village HOA, he was an inspiration. He worked tirelessly for the HOA. He always tried to do what was right and fair for all parties concerned. He always kept a great sense of humor and we would laugh together many times at situations that otherwise would make you want to pull your hair out. I will miss you my friend very much. May God bless you Barry and your family.

Barry was one of the most generous men I have ever known. His life though short was a tribute to being a real human being. Rest in peace my friend and my prayers are with your family and friends.

I only knew Barry over the past five or six years, in connection with his role at COIL, and mostly for his involvement and leadership for the Cambridge Village HOA. I am one of the property owners there and serve on the Board of Directors. Barry was our HOA Board president. He was a man of vision and determination, diligently completing every task and responsibility. Barry tirelessly served the Board, property owners and managers, and tenants. He was not a man to take short cuts but rather sought the best, most honorable way to get things done. We shall miss him greatly as we remember his friendship, personality, and leadership. May he be standing before the Lord, hearing "well done, good and faithful servant."

Barry was an extraordinary man. He hired me and gave me a chance when I moved from Maine. I'm still in the social work field because of him. He re-hired me after I left the Air Force on short notice. Have lots of good memories. He really built a legacy for the disabled community. Thank you, Barry.

Dee, Ashley, Evan, Barry Jr , Rebecca and girls.
We can't even begin to tell you how devastated we are by the loss of Barry. He was such a kind and wonderful man an Inspiration to all. He will never be forgotten. He gave so much of himself and his time coaching our girls Special Olympics Basketball Team who he always took to the win. He will be missed by so many. He was taken too soon but we know he is now running down the streets of gold up in Heaven with Our Lord and Savior. You now have your very own angel watching down over y'all. We are praying for all of you.
