Basil Sadoway

SADOWAY, Basil William (Bill) April 5, 1926 - October 18, 2004 On October 18, 2004, after a spirited fight to survive, Bill Sadoway passed away into the arms of our Lord. In sorrow, he leaves to mourn his six daughters and their families and his second wife, Evelyn (nee Downey) Olsen. Bill was the beloved father of Celeste Sadoway, Katherine and Charles Gachnang, Lori and David Hall and Jean Sadoway of Edmonton, Joan and Terry Lineker of Calgary and Delmarie and Larry Buchinski of St. Albert. Bill was a devoted grandfather and source of love and support to his precious grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by David Lineker and Jennifer Lineker of Calgary, Daniel Hall and Vanessa Hall of Edmonton and Alexander Buchinski of St. Albert. Bill is also mourned by his ten brothers and sisters and their families and many friends and neighbours. Bill was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Evelyn Scollnik in 1992; his darling son, Mark in 1962; his parents, Stephen and Mary Sadoway and two infant siblings. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Edmund Roman Catholic Church, 13120 - 116 Street, Edmonton, AB. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Edmund Roman Catholic Church with Reverend James Corrigan officiating.
