Beatrice MAJOR Obituary

MAJOR, Beatrice Rita (nee Randall) 78 years, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2003. Is reunited with her husband Mose J. (1996). Survived by loving friend and companion Kenneth Moore of Windsor. Loving mother of six sons: Garry and wife Nancy, Kenneth and wife Sandra, Phillip and wife Catherine, Daniel and wife Katrin, Robert and wife Diane, Shawn and wife Allison, all of Windsor. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Will be greatly missed by sisters Louise McNorton of Tecumseh, Alice McNorton of Windsor, brother Wilfred Randall of Belle River, family and friends. Predeceased by sisters May Leriviere, Irene Farr, Marie McNorton; brothers Raymond, Eugene, Joseph, and Leo Randall. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the staff and nurses of CCAC especially Shirley, Hospice of Windsor, Metropolitan Hospital 4th & 6th floors, also Windsor Western Hospital 3rd floor, for their kind and considerate care shown to our mother during her time of need. Visiting will be held on Monday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. from the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830), to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Beatrice Major in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
