Beatrice Williams Obituary
Emogene was bom in Andrews, North Carolina on August 23, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Albert Slayton Hooper and the late Lillie Esther (DeHart) Hooper. Emogene was preceded in death by her husband, Broadus Turner Williams and sisters Jane Williams and Thelma Heatherly.
She is survived by her sister Nina Beddingfield and brother James Hooper as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two daughters, Renita Steinmann (John) and Debora Jones (Bryan) of Chino Valley, Arizona. Emogene was proud of her seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial of her life will be held on August 12 at 11:00am at First Church of the Nazarene, Prescott, Az. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85024.

Mom, you were a wonderful mother-in-law! You made me feel like your own, and that always meant a lot to me.
The first memory that came to mind was the first time I got you into a belly laugh that didn't seem to quit for such a long time. I thought that was so funny, because I had never seen you like that and you couldn't control yourself and make it stop! After that, I used to enjoy trying to make that happen again - sometimes successfully. Sure enjoyed laughing with you when that happened!
I'm also remembering all the wonderful dinners we had in your kitchen around that heavy early american dining room set! Ha! That set was so heavy, and I never liked it, but I sure had some great southern cooking served up on it! Mmm-mmm!
You had a sweet temperament and personality, throughout your life. Thanks Mom - for everything! I love and miss you!
