Beatrix M. Peeples

ANDERSON — Beatrix M. "Bea" Peeples, 84, of Anderson, passed away Dec. 11, 2009, at Community Northview Care Center, following an extended illness.

She was born June 12, 1925, in Glasgow, Ky., the daughter of Jody and Myrtle (Bunch) Denham. She had lived in Anderson since 1945.

She was office manager at King Title Company and formerly Crouse Title Company and later worked at Wendy's on North Broadway for 10 years.

Bea was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband of 66 1/2 years, James "Fred" Peeples of Anderson; two sons, Larry (wife, Patsie) Peeples of Anderson, and Victor (wife, Denise) Peeples of Madison, Ga.; four grandchildren, Denny (wife, Kim) Peeples and Jody Peeples, all of Anderson, and Dixie Peeples and Bethany (husband, Justin) Berghoff, all of Atlanta, Ga.; six great-grandchildren, Ashley Peeples, Kristen Peeples, Chris (wife, Krista) Peeples (serving second tour in Iraq with the U.S. Army C-138 Infantry Regiment), Nick (wife, Courtney) Peeples (just returning from Iraq with the U.S. Army Alpha Troop 573rd Cavalry 3rd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division), Jake Peeples and Amanda Peeples; three great-great-grandchildren, Kaden, Rayleigh and Kaylie; and her sister, Mattie.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, officiated by Pastor Steve Lane. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
