My heart and prayers are with the family and friends of Beau. My most sincere condolencesto all of you at this difficult time. Beau will will be missed by many. His smile, his sense of humour, his grace on the dance floor and the beautiful paintings he made will be just a few of the memories we will all cherish. Beau was always so quick with a witty remark to any comment made. He loved to serenade us all, and tickle the ivories in the main foyer whenever he had the chance. Although he didn't play much golf anymore, he had plenty of advice for us " newbies". He tried to come across as being tough but he was a real teddy bear with a warm smile for all. R.I.P. Beau.

I met Beau at Windsor Park Retirement Home while I was visiting my 100 year old Great Aunt Mavis in February when I was in Ottawa for 3 weeks in February. I would see him every day and we started out acknowledging each other with a nod. Every luc=nch hour i would go to the salad bar in the dining room and he would be sitting at his table for one. We nodded at each other and I started saying 'Hello'.One particular lunch hour when I was dishing up my salad he said, "You should put some meat on that plate." I responded with "I would, but I am a vegetarian." To which he said 'It would make your hair look better..." To which I cheekily retorted "Yeah? And then it will look like yours!" He grinned a wide grin and I felt quite clever and funny. I went over to his table and introduced myself. We had a great chat and he told me the story of how he came to be named Beau. After further chatting we realized that we both lived in the same part of Guelph in the early to mid 1970's. I lived at 100 Arthur Street ad he lived up the hill off, on or near Palmerston; which is right up the hill from where I lived. After that we were fast friends and when he told me his birthday was coming up and I owed him a Birthday Kiss! On his birthday I honored my part of the deal and gave him a kiss on the cheek. he seemed 'chuffed' as they say in Liverpool! When I left Windsor Park to drive back to Winnipeg he said to me, 'You know I love ya eh?" I was overwhelmed with emotion at how quickly I came to genuinely LOVE the 'Grumpy looking Guy who turned out to be as sweet as honey' I was authentically honest when I held his hand, looked him in the eye with my teary eyes and told him that I loved him also! And I do! I am so very honoured to have known Beau for such a short time and I send my heart felt condolences to his entire family! He was a beautiful, kind, funny, sensitive and creative Man and I am sure he will live on in the hearts of ALL who knew and loved him! He had an absolutely beautiful singing voice and surprised me the first time I heard how dulcet and luvly he sang! My sincere and loving regards and thoughts to all who loved and knew him! Lovingly & Respectfully, Jenny Parkinson
