Becky Ann Wilson

Becky Ann Wilson, age 63, passed away on August 12th, 2024, in Lubbock.

Becky was born on October 25th, 1960, to Carolyn Walker and Kenneth Hamm in Lubbock, TX. Early in life, she fell in love with her soulmate, Michael Wilson. They married in 1978 and in 1979, their daughter Amber was born. Becky and Mike celebrated 34 years together before his passing in 2012.

Becky was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and compassionate. She was also strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined her. Her most precious memories were of spending time with her family and her grandson, along with her many nephews and nieces who affectionately called her Nonie.

Becky was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike (2012) and father, Kenneth Hamm (2012).

Family She Left Behind

Becky is survived by her daughter, Amber (Richard) Woodcock, and grandson, Peyton Wilson, along with her cherished mother and stepfather Carolyn and Robert Everett.

She leaves her siblings and their spouses behind along with numerous nieces and nephews. Siblings include sister, Suzy Schneider (Bill); brother, Marty Hamm (Treva); brother, Woody Hamm; brother, Cody Hamm (Cecilia); brother, Steve Everett (Patricia), brother, Mark Everett (Holly) sister, Gina Hendrix (Randy) and sister, Rietta Benson.

She will also be remembered by her extended family members including aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In honor of her final wishes, a celebration of life dinner will be held for her immediate family members to embrace their love for her.
