Belle Booker Andrews LeBus passed away after a long illness on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Booker was born on July 19, 1934, in Russellville, Kentucky, daughter of Mary Alma Kirkpatrick Andrews and Phillip Beckwith Andrews. She grew up in Russellville and graduated from Ward Belmont in Nashville and from Stevens College in Columbia, Mo. She then attended the University of Kentucky during which time she was Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival Queen.
Booker belonged to Idle Hour Country Club, The Lexington Club and Keeneland. She fully enjoyed her family and many friends and golf, tennis, bridge and football.
She is survived by her two beloved sons, Frank Frazee Wilson III, and his wife Cathy, and Philip Kirkpatrick Wilson, both of Lexington. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Philip Kirkpatrick Andrews.
A memorial service will be held at Central Christian Church, 205 E Short Street, Lexington, KY 40507, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 3 p.m. A graveside service will be held in Russellville, at Maple Grove Cemetery on Thursday, July 27 at 1 p.m.
Donations in her memory may be made to Woodford County Humane Society, 265 Thomas Lane, Versailles, KY 40383 or to Hospice of the Bluegrass, Inc., 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.

Belle and I were babies together as our mothers were lifelong friends too. I think of her often and will always miss her.

Condolences to the family. Please take comfort in the Biblical hope that sickness and death will soon be no more. At Hosea 13:14, it shows why we can see our dear loved ones again and we can believe that.
