Belle Smith Obituary
100, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017.
She was a retired Teacher for JCPS, member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Eric D. Whitney, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Leanna Williams Whitney, Apostle Benjamin Smith, Memphis, TN, and Lila McGruder; one great-grandson, Eric D. Whitney, Jr. (Jessica); three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at her church, 1425 Bland St. Burial will be in Louisville Cemetery.
