Hey Grandpa, is that time again where you popped up as a memory. However I do miss you quite a bit and think about you often. I recently had brought you up quite a bit in conversations with friends and remember what a well traveled individual you were. While looking up an underwater volcano somewhere in the Indian Ocean and I wanted to see how far away Johnson's atol was from the epicenter. Sorry to report, it closed down in the '90s. Spent quite a time looking for pictures of you which I didn't find. Brought up your time you spent in Southeast Asia while bragging about the furniture you brought back with a co-worker. Lastly was able to use your time spent there in the Middle East and when my mom and Aunt Penny visited you. Your work with the union provided you many opportunities that few people are able to experience and I'm happy that you were able to Not only experience that but bring the memories and goodies home with you. I love you very much and think of you often.

Thinking of you, dad, today and always. The pink crepe myrtle bushes you planted for me and Tom back when you were in your late 70's or early 80's are coming into beautiful bloom again at our home. You used to say 'you can take the boy off the farm, but you can't take the farm out of the boy'. You truly had a green thumb. Just one of the many many things I admired and appreciated you for. Tom and I are grateful your and mom's gravesite is being well cared for at the Dignity cemetery at East Lawn Palms. You took additional care of the site all the years you could, and we are doing the same. Much love and gratitude in my heart for you.

Grandpa, its hard to believe it's been 16 years since your passing. I still think of you often and cherish the memories we spent gardening or just running around in the Jetta doing errands with Spottie and Freckles? Always wish you would have got that Kaiser running. I hope to leave you another message 16 years from now.

It's been a long time Grandpa. Was thinking about you. Hope you and Grandma were reunited at those pearly white gates. I miss and love you very much.
