Mr. Ben Faulkner

Fred Boehning "Ben" Faulkner, 80, a 46 year resident of Media, passed away on November 16th, 2015. Born in Cabool, MO, he was the son of the late Evelyn B. (nee Keaggy) and Fred E. Dove, and his stepfather, the late Virgil Faulkner. Ben served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1957. He was the founding pastor of Delaware Valley Christian Church in Lima, PA; worked for Standard Publishing for 15 years; and later drove a school bus for the Rose Tree Media School District as well as the Rocky Run YMCA. He was the beloved husband of Vivian E. (nee Vincent); the loving father of Christina J. Saddic (Joseph) of West Chester, PA, and Leanne M. Hubbartt of Kennett Square, PA; the brother of Joyce Thompson (Jon) and the late Joan Cosolo. Ben is also survived by eight grandchildren: Michelle, Alex, Anthony, Jaclyn, John-Vincent, Jocelyn, Jalissa and Antonio Saddic. He enjoyed life, family, reading, music (including singing in the Westminster choir) and his many friends. He was genuinely loved by many, and will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on Sunday, November 22nd at 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church on Route 202 (Wilmington Pike) in West Chester, PA.
