BEN
On Monday, April 3, 2017, Ben, age 43, of Lawrenceville, loving fiancée of Jen Marasco; beloved father of Ben, Jr., Roman, and Savannah; son of George and the late Karen Kane; brother of George, Jamie (Gert) Kane; uncle of Ryan, Eamon; great-uncle of Greyson Kane; also survived by many family and close friends. Benny loved his family more than anything in the world. He was a drug and alcohol counselor at Pyramid Health Care and was dedicated to helping others. His laugh was contagious and his smile lifted up a room. He had a great sense of humor and the world will be sadder without him. Friends received at the JOHN F. MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 52nd St., Lawrenceville. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church Friday, 10 a.m. Visitations Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 2-8 p.m.

To Jenn and your family, my heart was broken when I heard of the passing of Ben while I was away! Your dad told me Ben was in the hospital before I left for vacation and I had no clue he was even sick until he told me. I am so sad. He was such a great guy. I will always remember he and I talking about our gardens and swaping what we grew with each other. He was a great father and a great person and I will surely miss that great smile and seeing him in the yard with the kids. May he rest in peace now.
