I don't know why I searched Ben Nathanson tonight but there must have been a reason. I,was a student teacher in Ben's class in Spring/Summer 1984. In my infancy as a teacher he taught me how to CONNECT with students and to have an appreciation for student's backgrounds.. I'm am saddened that I will not be able to meet him again, and would have come to Edmonton on June 18th had I known. I will forever remember making Aztec Sun God Masks with the students he entrusted to me. !!!! My condolences to his family.

Sincere condolences to Valerie & family on the sudden loss of Ben. Ben was a great friend & fun to be around. I have many good & funny memories from growing up in Sydney, to university days at Dalhousie to many summers at Camp Kadimah. No matter where in the world he lived, he always stayed connected. We will miss that great Nathanson smile. Our prayers & thoughts are with you all.
