Ben Templin

Ben Templin, 80, Sarasota, died Dec. 11, 2004. He was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Fairmont, W.Va., and came to Sarasota from there in 1956. He retired in 1986 as a pharmaceutical sales representative with A.H. Robins in Central Florida. He had also been a podiatrist in Fairmont and was an Army medic during World War II. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Joyce; a daughter, Sharon Coins of Temple Terrace; a sister, Dawn Joyce-Mason of Newark, Ohio; a brother, James of Millwood, W.Va.; and two grandchildren. No services are planned. Heritage Memorial Cremation Center is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 4955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
