Benita Jeanne Anduss age 87 passed away peacefully on June 25th 2025 of natural causes at Adante Assisted Living in San Antonio Tx.

Jeanne was born in Bay City, MI September 1937. The daughter of late parents George Baranek & Benita Marentette. Siblings James Allen Baranek of CA passed in the late 1980's and George Baranek of FL passed 2024. Jeanne is survived by her two children Mark Seighton Anduss of Arlington and Craig Arlan Anduss of San Antonio, TX and by many more loving relatives.

Jeanne moved to Los Angeles California at age 13 where she finished Junior High then moved to Newton KS in 1955 and graduated from Newton High School. On January 1975 Jeanne graduated from Axtel Christian Hospital in Newton KS as an X-Ray Technician and briefly worked at the Halstead KS Hospital that eventually closed in 2002.

Jeanne then moved to San Antonio, TX in 1977 and enjoyed a successful career as an X-Ray technician until her retirement around 1990. Before and during her comfortable retirement she was a very talented artist who enjoyed oil painting, watercolors along with a gift creating beautiful dried flower arrangements.

Jeanne enjoyed all her beloved feline's Popcorn, BooBoo, Africa, China, Andy, Annie, Shadow, Henry and Tigger as well as caring for all her friendly deer, polecats, raccoons, squirrels, birds and foxes that regularly visited her big backyard while living in San Antonio, Tx.

Jeanne embodied love, which had a lasting impact on all who were around her. In loving memory of you mom from all the lives you've touched with your kindness and love will forever be remembered.

Jeanne will be interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 (214-467-3374), where a private service will be held.
