Benita Chan Obituary

CHAN _ Benita Jane, born on October 3, 1934, to the late Steven and Rosy Chan (nee Wing), passed away on May 6, 2006 at home in Victoria. She is survived by her sisters, Vivian (Daniel) Costa, Carol and Adrienne; brothers Anthony (Angela Wei Djao) Lynnwood, WA, and Reginald (Eileen) of Quesnel, B.C.; niece Lian Djao Chan, and nephews, David and Michael Chan; Thoreau and Ibsen Moy. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins (Chan and Wing). She will be missed by friends and family. A memorial service will be held at ST. JOHN THE DIVINE ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1611 Quadra Street, Victoria on Monday, May 15, 2006, at 2:30 pm. Donations may be made to BC Cancer Foundation, 2410 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 6V5 or 200 - 601 W. Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4C2.
