BENITO "BENNY"
Of Wilkins Township, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018, age 83. Beloved husband of Concetta Moscatiello; loving father of Gabriella P. Germinaro (Joseph) and Sabrina S. Moscatiello (Remo DiFranco); proud grandfather of Massimo, Marco, Sofia and Eva Germinaro and Jordan, Marina, Dante and Elise DiFranco; brother of Franco Moscatiello and the late Rocco and Italia Moscatiello; also survived by nieces and nephews. Benito was the president and owner of Anjo/GASA, Inc., a heavy highway construction company. Among his projects were the reconstruction of the Highland Park, 16th Street, Bloomfield and Fort Pitt Bridges as well as the Airside Terminal at the new Pittsburgh Airport and several stations of the subway. Benito had a joyous approach to life. He was spirited, fearless, fun-loving, and generous with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Friends received at McCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Wednesday, 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.. Prayers will commence at the funeral home on Friday at 8:45 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Fisher Church, Lewin Lane, Churchill at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Benito's name to the American Heart Association, www.donatenow.heart.org or Lung Cancer Foundation of America, www.lcfamerica.org.
