Previously, he had been a board member at Ridgefield Workshop for the Performing Arts and was the first recipient of their Lifetime Achievement Award. Ben belonged to various Pharmaceutical Associations in the area and was an active participant in Jewish Marriage Encounter along with his wife Elie. He was of Temple B'Nai Chaim of Georgetown. To all the family my dearest sympathy. Ben you are sorrowfully missed, I walked in the pharmacy the other day and could not contain myself, I looked for you to say something and joke around, because that was your nature, you always asked me about myself and my daughter. Yes you will be missed in that pharmacy, not just by me, but by many, because they loved you. God love you Ben.

Our Prayers to the family. Ben was a good friend, I will miss him dearly.

TO: Ben

I called upon your name, wishing you were near, but still I felt the pain and a word I did not hear. When they told me you were gone. The tears fell and I ask that old question why? But this answer we already know. My friend, the jokes, the laughes, and conversations I will always remember. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

Ben,I will miss you dearly, as a customer in Rite-Aid pharmacy, no one will take your place. I know God loves you and has a place for you in Heaven.

How do you describe Ben, you can't, he was always there. He would always joke around, but most of all he was a caring and loving man. Words cannot describe how much I will miss him. The pharmacy will not be the same without Ben.

We remember Ben from years ago when my husband was a police officer in Westport and we had two small children.. Ben was there through sickness with all of us and especially when my husband was injured in the line of duty. Those were the "good old days" when the local pharmacist was your friend and even delivered your prescriptions if you couldn't get out. We remember him with many fond memories. May he rest in peace.

Ben was our pharmacist years ago at Westfair Pharmacy in Westport. He was a delightful man, a wonderful pharmacist and always a pleasure to talk with. God bless his family at this sad time.

I had the pleasure of working with Ben at Rite Aid. I will always remember him as an extremely caring person with a Razor sharp wit. He was always thinking about the obstacles that his patrons had, and went out of his way to help them overcome them.
