Benjamin Travis Frederick

Benjamin Travis Frederick, known lovingly as Travis, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2025. He was 46 years old.

Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Travis brought his Southern warmth and deep appreciation for nature with him when he made Indiana, Pennsylvania his home 18 years ago. A passionate outdoorsman, Travis found peace and joy in the woods and on the water. Whether casting a line or tracking game, he cherished every moment spent in nature.

Travis was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his three children-Haydn, Braden, and Jaden Frederick. He is also survived by his parents, Ronald and Kay Frederick; his sisters, Donda Frederick and Julia Walls (Brian); and his beloved nieces Britany Chason (Daniel) and Peyton Walls; and nephews Justin Helms, Christopher Helms (Alaysha), and Samuel Stedman. He also leaves behind several other great nieces and a great nephew who also brought him immense joy.

Known for his humor, his big heart, and his love for the outdoors, Travis built lasting friendships wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Travis's life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Killearn Methodist Church, located at 2800 Shamrock Street in Tallahassee. A small reception will follow in Asbury Hall. In lieu of flowers, his family asks for you to honor his memory by performing an act of kindness for someone else.
