PYLESVILLE, MD Benjamin Leroy "Abe" Lowe, 77, died at his home on Wednesday, August 29, 2007. He was the husband of Thelma K. Lowe, who died in 1995. Mr. Lowe was born February 23, 1930, in Jarrettsville, Md., a son of the late Benjamin R. and Nellie B. (Kent) Lowe. He was a lifetime resident of Harford County where he owned and operated the family dairy farm. Mr. Lowe is survived by five children, Lynn A. Coyle of Albuquerque, N.M., Susan J. Varipatis of Pylesville, Md., Benjamin Roy Lowe of Fawn Grove, Nancy J. Wilkinson of Pylesville, Md., and Anne M. Lowe-Seling of Pylesville, Md.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, F. Kent Lowe of Katy, Texas, and Richard B. Lowe of Forest Hill, Md. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two children, Carolyn B. Lowe and Randy L. Lowe. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta. Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and for one hour prior to the service Saturday. The Rev. Melissa McDade of Norrisville United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Slate Ridge Cemetery, Delta.
