On Saturday, November 22, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of Judy Stein. Loving father of Gregory, and Lori (Mirella). Loving brother and brother-in-law of Ruth and Donald Brown. Son of the late Julius and the late Ida Sherman. Son-in-law of Mariette Geniele. Benji will be sadly missed by his family, many friends, and all of those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Benefit Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home through Friday afternoon, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Donations in his memory may be made to the Dialysis Department c/o Montreal General Hospital Foundation, (514) 934-8230.

On behalf of the Intensive care team at the Royal Vic , we would like to extend our condolances to Judy and Mr. Sherman's family. Thanks for sharing those pictures of Mr. Sherman wearing his favourite hats. Although we didn't know him well, it helped us understand in a small way the fun loving person he was. No words can ease the pain you are feeling but please know that our thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.
