Benny CUELLAR

CUELLAR, Benny, 89, passed away, Friday, August 17, 2012. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, FL, Benny was a proud graduate of Hills-borough High School, a US Army veteran, retiree of Industrial Supply Corporation, a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a passionate Florida Gator Booster. He was a talented singer, dancer, avid reader and historian. Mr. Cuellar was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Regla (Lopez) Cuellar, his brother Charles Cuellar and sister Amelia "China" (Oscar) Rodriguez. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Anne (Clesi) Cuellar, adoring daughter Valerie Orihuela and son-in-law Ralph Orihuela Jr., loving grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, and Lauren Orihuela, sister-in-laws, Dahlia Cuellar and Katie Ponzo and nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you is extended to nieces, Sandra (John) Palmeri and Yolie (Joe) Rodriguez and their families for the love, devotion, and kindnesses shown through the years. Benny was dearly loved by his family and friends and will always be remembered for his tender heart and vibrant personality. The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
