BERNADETTE ALICE (KIRBY) HALE May 3, 1918 - January 3, 2011 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bernadette Hale (nee Kirby), 92. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack (d. 1984), daughter Catherine Cameron (d. 1988), her parents and siblings. Left to mourn are her children Maureen Nelson of Ohio and Florida, Elizabeth Hale of Toronto, Jim Hale of Winnipeg, Mary-Martha Hale (Don Desnoyers) of Ottawa, Susan Hale (Ken Hodgson) of Baltimore, ON, Michael Hale (Debra) of Burlington, and Sheilagh Beavon (Nigel) of London, ON; her grandchildren Andrew McIntosh (Amy), Joe Cameron, Sharon Storr (David Flook), Heather Stephenson (Joe), Keely Storr (Pierre Dupont), Ambrose Kirby (Jordan Elsey), Kathleen Gomez (Julian), Meredith Desnoyers, Garth Hale-Hodgson (Patti Baratta), Daniel Desnoyers, Colleen Hale-Hodgson, Meaghen Hale, Bridget Wood, Shannon Hale, Samantha Hale and Matthew Wood; and her great-grandchildren Dylan and Fiona McIntosh, Jaden Cameron, Zachary, Freya and Lachlan Flook, Kaitlyn Pitcher and Mason Stephenson, Olivier Dupont, Joshua, David and Daniel Gomez. Also left to mourn are sister-in-law Jacqueline Kirby, son-in-law Bob Cameron (Jenny) and others in her extended family. The family will receive guests at R. S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Thursday January 6, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church at 3220 Bayview Avenue, north of Finch Avenue on Friday January 7th, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
