Although we lost touch these past few years Mrs.Payne's friendship has had a lasting influence on me. My family's and my life has been enriched by the friendship both she and Mr. Payne extended to us. Thank you.

Remembering you with great fondness: Dad(Archie) would say now: ''Welcome little sister,(Bernie) we were play- mates and siblings, and I took care of you after we left Windsor Ontario and before you married. Mom (Regina)and family is here along with your loving husband Fay, and your many friends and loved ones who crossed over before you. We are re-united now, Bernie, and we will both look down upon our loved ones and families from our special place in Heaven. You will watch over Richard and Jo-Ann and their families, and send them peace and love. I will watch over my family too.'' Dad cherished his little sister and it is comforting to think that they are together now in peace.

I will always remember Bernie and her days with my grandmother Doris at Forest Hill. The way the two of them watched over each other was always special. I was honoured to get to know Bernie, we shared many smiles and stories. Jo-ann and Stephen my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Jo-Ann (Stephen), Richard (Pat)and children: Your mom had many talents and gifts and was blessed with a quick mind and a sense of justice. She loved her husband and her children dearly and added a good dose of humour and honesty to every encounter. Aunt Bernie will be lovingly remembered.

I remember Mrs. Payne when she invited me to Richard's 5th ? birthday - such a long time ago - she was most gracious and very kind!
Faithful servant of the Lord - rest in peace.
Sincerely
