Lois Gay Obituary
Lois was born in 1942 to Faye B. and Constance D. Reed. She married Ron Gay, Sr. on December 23, 1961, in Keokuk, Iowa. She was a licensed practical nurse who began her career at the Scott County Home, now known as Pine Knoll. She worked there for 33 years, until her retirement in 2003 due to health reasons. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Lois enjoyed playing the piano, listening to classical music, and working word and number puzzles.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; children, Ron Jr. (Debra) Gay, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Lisa Gay, Brian Gay and Chris Gay, all of Davenport; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Faye Reed, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
