Dear Lynne,Ann,Wayne,Paul,Joe, Shane and families,
I was very saddened to hear of your Dad's death and I hope that the many happy memories you have shared over the years will help to ease the ache in your hearts.
Bernie was a kind man who was always very welcoming to me. I have some fond memories of a few occasions spent in our home and at the cottage and certainly some fun times at your weddings.
When we visited him in the hospital in London he seemed very tired and frustrated that he couldn't do all the things he liked to do.I am sure that there won't be any such restrictions on him in Heaven.
I am very sorry that I wasn't able to share in the celebration of your Dad's life but Uncle Jim tells me that you all did a great job and one that your Dad would be proud of.
Uncle Jim and I went to a beravement mass the day we heard of his passing and lit a candle in his honor and prayed for him. We will continue to pray for him and for all of you.
Lots of love and special hugs
Aunt Sandra

Lynne and Danny, Ann, Wayne and Susan, Paul and Shelley, Joe and Lori, Shane and Tammy: My heart felt condolences on the passing of your father and my uncle - a great human being. I am sorry that I cannot be there in person to share in your grief and happiness - grief to have lost someone so dear and so dearly loved, happiness in all the wonderful memories he left behind.
I never swing a golf club without thoughts of uncle Bernie and his love for the game. I'm sure he's going to score some aces in heaven.
All my love,
Colleen
