Dear Mavis and Family:

May and I were saddened to hear of Bernie's passing and we send our sincere condolences to you in your loss. I have known Bernie for over 50 years and valued his friendship. He had high standards which he followed in business and his military career and expected the same from others, but was never overbearing. He will be sadly missed by us all.
