BERNARD LAWSON WATTS FLORENCE - Mr. Bernard Lawson Watts, 66, of Florence passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Carolinas Hospital in Florence. He was born February 18, 1944 in Mt. Croghan, a son of the late Floyd Watts, Sr. and Fodie Jordan Watts. Mr. Watts was married to Brenda Casey Watts. He enjoyed playing the piano, gospel music and fishing. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Watts will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 2 pm at New Life Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Pate Rev. Gerald McCants officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mr. Watts is survived by his wife, Brenda Watts; a daughter, Pam Dauksch and her husband Gary of Florence, a brother, Johnny Watts of Camden; two sisters, Doris Craig of Ker-shaw and Clarice Miller of Georgia; two grandchildren, Rachael Dauksch and Isabelle Dauksch. The family and friends will be meeting at the home of Gary and Pam Dauksch at 1908 Kensington Street, Florence on Friday, February 18 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
