Bernice Branch Obituary

Bernice L. Branch, 78, of Glen Allen, departed this life February 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Lomax and Blanche Lomax Brown and two brothers, Walter and Horace Lomax, Jr.  Surviving are two sons, Craig W. Branch, Sr. and Jermaine L. Branch; foster daughter, Judy A. Robinson; granddaughter, Shannon Robinson; grandson, Craig Branch, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; sister, Blanche L. Washington; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's FuneralHome, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. The family will receive friends from 12 – 12:45 Saturday, March 2 at St. Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Dr. Kirkland R. Walton, pastor, officiating. Interment 12 noon Tuesday, March 5 at Long Branch Baptist Church, 14292 Long Branch Road, Woodford, VA  22580.

we were sorry to hear of the passing of mrs branch. she was the original instructor that I met in this business. I admired the way she handled the kids and Richmond's hair community has lost an icon. our prayers are with the family.
