John, I am so sorry to that we have lost Bernice. She was a great
lady. loved and respected by everyone. The friendship between her family and my family goes back to her father who was a dear friend of my father, Andrew Marion Mounce, Sr. who died in 1931.

After the loss of my parents, I was fortunate to find a friend in Bernice. My days felt empty and odd with out the destination of my parent's home. It was a comfort to sit, talk or just be with Bernice.
