Bob and I had a great respect for "Miss Bernice". She was a true lady and gave me a job for a while when things were rough. We valued her friendship and advice. She was really something dressed in her Sunday best, and Heaven must have been one happy place when she came walking in. My best to everyone--

Aunt Bernice (aka African Soup Bone) I miss you. I miss being able to call you. I'll miss our trips as "Thelma & Louise" even if it was going from Baltimore to Rachel; Or to Phoenix, AZ or San Antonio, TX. I'm sorry we didn't get to England. I will'hold on to my head' while I'm in the Middle East, I know they don't want you to come and help me! :)I Love You. Peace.

Bernice trained me when I started at the Welfare Dept in 1976. She was such a hoot and I am glad that we were able to share many laughs together. I don't think I have ever had a better teacher...she taught and you didn't even realize she was doing it. Love to you all.
