Lisa Hamilton Obituary
A native of Alamance County, NC she was the daughter of the late Murray Augusta "Red" and Margie Walker Cheek.
She was a loving mother, sister and friend to many.
She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.
Her joy and love were her children and her pets as they always put a smile on her face.
Survivors include her children, Mandy Norris Murray and husband Daniel and Kellie Elizabeth Hamilton; sisters, Patricia Cheek McMillan and Becky Martin and her brothers, Wilkie Murray Cheek, Jimmy Cheek and wife Bonnie.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Rev. John Shields officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of the daughter, Mandy at 2474 Millbrook Dr. Haw River, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County at www.hsaconline.org.
Condolences may be offered at www.mcclurefuneralservice.net.

To Mandy and Kellie
Another year has come and gone. As time passes I know the pain get easier to deal with. But myself losing my mom 23 years ago. It never ever completely disappears. I still have moments when I need my mom. But, I feel it’s a healthy feeling and it proves that we still love and miss our mothers and still need them. May God continue to hold your heats when you miss your mom !

Our Father in Heaven has called you home my dear friend. Lisa you were and are an amazing person! And your death is proof that after the storm comes a rainbow. I will be spoiling your baby girl Bella just as you would want. Mandy...my best friend ever...may God keep his gentle arms around you as you have moments of pain and tears and feel the void.
