An awesome friend and a mentor to all of us - Bertha was righteous, super smart, caring and very noble.
She always extended her gentle warm heart to everybody around her without limitations.
She was truly a kind and caring soul, always present in her mind and intentions, and I can attest she implemented that spirit in her wonderful children and whomever was around her.
In memory of a truly wonderful person, Bertha would always be present in my heart and mind. Her spirit is a true gift to my life and every fortunate person that she touched. Love you Bertha

I love you all. I am sending all of you my love and my heart.

Berthies was everything to me my whole life. She always took care of everyone and had the kindest, sweetest heart. She was funny and lit up the room whenever she walked in. To say I will miss her with all my heart doesn't even come close. She was my 2nd Mom. Anyone who knew her was blessed.

I pray she is with Abuelita, Abuelo, Laly and Pepito. I love you always Berthies, always.

I love you, my cousins. The memories of all of us getting together and the laughter! That time in our lives , I know will always live in our hearts. Making my Tia Bertica laugh with silly imitations was one of my favorite things to do. I´m lucky to have such wonderful family memories...and Bertica is in the forefront. She is so special to me. I have to confess, I use one of her jokes all of the time...so silly, but I loved is as a kid is your face hurting you? (Those who know, know) my heart is with you... I´m only a phone call away

I haven't seen Berta in many years, but she was an integral part of the early years of Operation Pedro Pan Group. Always smiling, kind, loving and very spirited, she added a lot to the group. Our sincere condolences to her family and especially her sister Teresita, who also participated in the Pedro Pan gatherings. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Un fuerte abrazo, Lynn Guarch-Pardo & Felix Pardo
