Bertha Milford

Bertha Mae "Bert" Milford (née Keller), age 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Granbury, Texas, on August 2, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born on June 4, 1932, in San Antonio, Texas, Bertha was the daughter of Adolph Keller and Inez Crain. She was one of thirteen children and grew up in a large and lively household. Over the course of her long life, she remained deeply connected to her roots and cherished the bonds of family above all else.

Bertha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold "Moose" Milford; her daughter Elizabeth Milford; her parents; and ten siblings. Despite these losses, she continued to be a source of strength and comfort to those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Sherri Goodman and Ann Thebeau; her children Bradford Milford, Winifred Myers, Rena Cabello, and Jakki Milford-Flores; and her son-in-law Robert "Blanco Bob" Flores. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Teresa Myers, Angie Cabello, Catrina Cabello, and Fernando Cabello. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will carry forward the warmth of her memory.

Bertha was known as a loving mother and grandmother who always took time to listen. Her gentle presence brought comfort to those around her, and she had a gift for making others feel heard and valued. Her home was a place where stories were shared freely and laughter echoed often.
