Chuck,
I just found out about Beth last week. Although I only knew her for a short time, she made me feel as if I had known her for a lifetime. My condolences to you and your family. I too, know how difficult it is to accept the loss of a loved one. Be assured that God does things for a reason and I feel that she fulfilled her season on this earth. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

God bless each of you with the strength you will need at this time.

Oh Beth, I can't believe you are not here. You were my inspiration, my friend, my sista, my advisor, my angel from God. And now you are in heaven. I cry not because you are gone, because I know you are in a better place. I cry because I miss you and you are gone.... too soon. You truly were a divine original who touched people wherever you went. I will always be grateful for knowing you and I will never forget you. You were a role model to so many. I admired you so much. You loved and accepted people just the way they were. No conditions. People loved that when they were with you, you stopped your world to really be there for them. So many people will miss you. Life will never be quite the same without you. I try to emulate your warm and caring personality so that I can keep your memory alive. If everyone you touched, would try and be more like you were every day, the world would be a better place. Although you are not here in body, I know you are with us all and until we meet again.....I luv ya, sweet pea.
Your friend,
Kathleen

Chuck,
Deborah and I just learned of Beths untimely passing. She was such a positive inspiration to us, especially during the time following Katrina. Her personality was always positive and she was one of the most caring persons we have ever had the honor to know. We will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Chuck and family, I will always remember Beth for loving hugs, sweet personality, her wit, her love of the New Orleans Saints. I worked with Beth @ Prudential Gardner Realtors, her smile was infectous, her laugh was heard everywhere and her hard work in helping people achieve their dream of home ownership. She was a go getter and always found a way to make people happy. We will certainly miss her sincerity, generousity and love for her friends and family.

The Gilpin Family

Beth's smile still lights up my face everytime I think of her. She was a power house of a positive nature and I will never forget her. "How's my girl" is how she addressed me, with a big hug, always cheerful no matter what was going on. She was helping a fellow realtor when we last spoke. Beth touched everyone she met with her brightness. My heart and prayers are with you all.

We were so sorry to hear about Beth, and still think of her as that bubbly young mother/cheerleader at the Mandeville basketball games. It is so hard to loose someone like that.

The Gilpin Family:

May God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I was on vacation when I heard the news of Beth. It saddened me to hear about the family's loss. I did not know she was ill. Beth was a very caring, good hearted human being. She helped us in our time of need for a house after Katrina and was very supportive and determined to find us a house. My family will keep you and your family in our prayers. She will be sadly missed.

Beth was like a hummingbird flitting in the sky- tiny, colorful, and vibrating with boundless energy- up, down, coming in for a landing on a beautiful bloom and then forwards, backwards, sideways and Beth could even hover in mid air while telling a story. She put her whole heart into everything she did- chatting in her jubilant way about her family’s successes, achievements and victories; confident and radiating her joy of life.
It is with great sorrow, for all who knew and loved her, that her new mission has taken her to greater heights- where we cannot see her but we can certainly feel her presence. Her strong faith helps me to believe that her boundlessness will always be with us...I close my eyes and I can hear her Southern drawl....”How are you honey?”

Chuck, Charles, and John,

When my mom called to tell me about Beth it totally shocked me. The years spent being part of your family were fun years. Especially coaching Charles. I want you to know that often times we lose contact with people, but we never forget about them. From the 1st day meeting Beth she was a go getter for the boys and whatever they were involved in. My family prayers are with you during this most difficult time. If there is anything we can do to ease the pain let us know. As simple as preparing a meal for the 3 of you. God Bles,

I am so very sad and shocked to hear of Beth's passing. I was out of town on Saturday when a friend called to let me know. I called to check on her after the surgery and she was recovering. I am still in shock and can't stop thinking about her. I have known Beth for the past 8 years. I was her Aesthetician. She was one of my favorite people. She was always cheerful and just such a wonderful person to be around. I saw Beth 2 days before her surgery. Her appointment was supposed to last an hour, but it lasted 2..because we talked and laughed so much. We laughed until we had tears in our eyes. Beth was one of those people who connected with everyone. Her family and children meant the world to her. She was heavy on my mind last Wednesday and Thursday, but didn't get a chance to call. I so wish I would have taken the time. I feel very lucky to have had her in my life. I loved Beth! My heart goes out to all of you. You are in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs Beth. I knew her from the late nights she spent in her office and we would run into her when we would go clean it. I've only known her a few years, but in that span of time she became very near and dear to my heart. It is going to be very hard to go into the office and know that she is not going to just pop in on us late at night. I am going to miss her very much. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in you time of need. I am grateful to have had her in my life for the short time that I did.

Dear Chuck,Charles and wife, and John,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss and want to express my deepest sympathy. I loved having Beth as my friend! She was adored by everyone she met. She just had that way of making you feel like family, and after a few moments spent with her you felt as if you had known her forever. She always had a smile and loved everyone, especially the kids at MMS when she worked there. And, boy did she work! She was always willing to lend a helping hand, and always with a smile. She had hugs for all, and I will always remember her laugh. She loved her friends and her family and was so devoted to both. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. Lean on one another for strength and know that God is with you always.

Mr. Charles, Charles, III, and John and the entire Gilpin Family,

I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Beth's passing. Even though I was a part of the Salmen family for a short period of time, she made sure that I felt as if I was there from the beginning. Mrs. Beth was very grateful for my contributions to the team and especially its members and always had positive words for me. I remember so many moments before the games, during the games and after that had she not been there, it would have been a loss for everyone working with her.

Charles and John, the losing of a mother is so crucial, even though you both are on your way in life, as I have experienced it, but losing a mother that was active all the time is harder. Please know that as I pray today, I will be sure to include her in my prayers along with Dad and the rest of the family. Please do not doubt our Lord's plan at that time. Rely on those so close to you to provide strength and remain focused.

Stay tight as a group. You will be able to console one another much better and focus on the good times, not the most recent.

Mrs. Beth...thanks for being a part of my life and making me feel special while employed in St. Tammany.
