Beth Ellen Hurd (nee Klausman) passed away on April 1, 2024, in Kent, Ohio, at the age of 63. She was born on October 2, 1960, in Tarrytown, NY. Beth, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Beth truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed playing bingo, bird watching from her window, reading books, and savoring the company of family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Hurd, her son Bill Hurd (Catherine), her daughter Amy Sweet (Terry), her grandchildren Clayton, Jacob, Emma, Kate, and Celeste, her sister Lynda Guest (Brian), her sister Kathy Casey (Jack), her sister Donna Jolly (David), and her sister Peggy Singlemann (Doug). Beth was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Valentine, and her father, Frank Klausman.

To honor Beth's life and celebrate her memories a private celebration of life will be held this summer with her family.

Beth will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

I´m Julie her step daughter. Good memories are Beth one year the coach of St Helen´s Cheerleaders and picking me as "Captain". Also her many `secret´ brownie recipe´s. She taught me to `cross stitch´ Always nice to know she was a preachers daughter. Because of her and my dads `influence I obtained my OPATA enhancing my career! The pleasure is all mine. Yours very true´ Julie and kids.
