Ms. Moore now known as Mrs. Connick was my 7th grade teacher around 10 years ago. I watched “coach” Connick & Mrs. Moore’s start of their relationship. It was hidden from us students during the time but we all had our ideas that the two liked each other. Ms. Moore I have a fond memory of bringing homemade Mexican rice pudding for a potluck & all the other kids didn’t want something new. Ms. Moore was the only one willing to try it & she said she really loved it. Coach Conbick is a great man willing to take me on the soccer team even though I got cut. I was determined to keep practicing with the team & him allowing me to join us what kept me out of trouble. I thank you for that.

As I pray for all of you in the midst of your deep sorrow, so many precious memories of Bethany come to mind. As a little girl with a shy sweet smile that I loved seeing when she was in the Kids choir at Bethany Baptist Church, then the fun of seeing her continuing to sing in the TOHS Choir and then getting to hire her.as a substitute teacher for CVUSD as she started her teaching career. Bethany was always so kind to everyone with such a sweet, gentle spirit. I look forward to seeing her again and hearing her singing in that heavenly choir! We have to fly to Houston on Saturday so we won't be with all of you at the service but we're sending our love and prayers, Dave and Vivian Furlong
