Bettie Jo (BJ) Barnes Obituary
Bettie was a loving and devoted mother to her children, M. Adrienne Allen and Joseph A. (Stacey) Barnes. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, showering affection on her grandchildren: Jiovanni D. Allen, Michaela M. Allen, Raven E. McElroy, Jada P. Barnes, and Grant R. Barnes. Her love extended further to her great-grandchildren: London Allen, James Rivers, Carson Gamble, and Michael Gamble.
In addition to her roles as a mother and grandmother, Bettie was a cherished sister to Barbara M. (Ernie) Harris. She leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish the memories shared with her.
Bettie McGee Barnes touched the lives of those around her with kindness, love, and unwavering support. Her legacy is one of family, friendship, and the enduring bonds she created. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family has arranged a celebration of her life at Cure d'Ars Catholic Church on January 20th at 1 p.m., 3201 Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80207.
May Bettie (BJ) McGee Barnes rest in peace, her memory forever etched in the hearts of those who loved her.

Being around BJ and family always made me happy and felt welcomed as being family. I know we lost a big paart of our family but I also know she is sitting at the side of Jesus watching each and everyone of us! BJ, may you rest in peace!
