Betty (BJ) Jane Savard-Boyer

Betty Jane Savard-Boyer (BJ), age 87, long time resident of Naples, FL and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away peacefully on May 26, 2023. She was the daughter of Walter and Ethel Bobinsky. She is predeceased by her loving husband, John C. Boyer, February 5, 2022 and her children, William (Bill) (Susan), Gary, Robert (Bob), Henry (Chip) and Betty Jane Savard. She mentioned them often and cherished the time she had with them. She is survived by her son Mark Savard (Christine), stepsons Scott and Paul (Debi) Boyer and daughters Chris Rossett (Joe), Cindy Payne (Ernie), and Cherie Margarite Stutz (Vince), many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nephews.

BJ loved spending time talking with her family and seeing friends. She was a homemaker and loved to cook learning at a young age from her father while he had a restaurant in Springfield, PA. She loved to go to Avalon, NJ and spend time at the beach with all of the kids in tow. She also loved working at her brother's restaurant, The Sandpiper, many years ago. She was an avid gardener and a past president of the Drexel Hill Women's Club. She was a true people person at heart. Through all of the sad times, she was always smiling, humming or singing a tune and offered a kind word to someone in need as her Catholic faith was very strong. BJ was an award-winning Realtor in both Minnesota and Florida. Over the years, she was very proud of the many rental properties her and John had along with ones that she managed for other owners. As a friend, wife, mother and grandmother, she is already missed by her large family and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to her graveside memorial service oat 10:00AM on Monday, August 7, 2023, Calvary Cemetery, 235 Matsonsford Rd., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Luncheon to follow at Anthony's (Lamb Tavern) Springfield and Eagle Rds., Springfield, PA 19064.
