I am sorry to hear about Betty passing away. I have heard a lot of great things about her and I wish I could have had the pleasure to have met her and get to know her. I lost a sister 4 years ago and it is hard losing a loved one, especially when you are close to them. It helps to remember all of the good times and special things done together and as a family. My prayers and our families prayers go out to you and Betty will always be in our hearts.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I know she lived a meaningful life, her work and love for children makes her a very special person. Her kind heart and loving soul will continue to grow and touch others and her love will always be felt.
My father was friends with Betty's father, Lyman--and he spoke of the deep bond and love which Lyman (Brownie) carried for his newborn daughter. This love carrried him through many difficult trials and dangerous nights. Sadly he was killed in action April 14th, 1945 during WWII when Betty was still a baby. She was forced to grow up without his physical presence, but the bond and love never died---I am as certain of this as I am that they are together again. The best way to meet the loss of this special woman, Betty, is to know that when we truly love, that love us never lost--even upon death. She will become more a part of us than was possible in life. My prayers and love go out to all of her family.
