PINEVILLE — Ronnie Elliott, 62, of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Kettle Island, KY on October 15, 1952, a son of the late Simon and Sarah Pearl Johnson Elliott. Ron had served in the US Army Reserve and had retired from Kentucky Utilities Company where he had been a Substation B Foreman. He loved hunting and fishing and had been very active with the PHS Band Boosters and had driven the Band Trailer for several years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Elliott and a sister, Joyce Wilson.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Sarah Frances Bird Elliott; daughters, Sarah Stefanie Elliott and Mary Jennifer Elliott; brothers and sisters, Shirley Taylor; Patsy and James Don Wells; Carolyn and Harold Prindle; Kathy and Barry Schuster and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Friday at 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Bingham and Mr. Don Wells.

Burial will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Butch Dixon, Ron Gilley, Eric Brock, Caleb Brock, Eddie Wilson and Cecil Jackson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Elliott Family. Light a virtual candle and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.

So sorry for u loss Frances.. I am just now hearing this.. I am thinking of u and pray u and ur family some comfort and understanding. God called him home cause needed to rest.. Rip Ronnie!
