Betty Daves Harper

Indian Harbour Beach - Betty Daves Harper, 89, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida. Born on July 10, 1935, in Lily, Georgia, she grew up in Tampa and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1953. Betty was a devoted mother and friend. She cherished nature, especially the beauty of the Indian River Lagoon and the mountains of West Virginia. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Mark Pyle, Norman Pyle, and Betty Harper. She was predeceased by her husband, James Harper, and sons, Dale Pyle and Ernie Pyle. In honor of her love for the outdoors, donations may be made to The Nature Conservancy.
