Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you, until we meet again…

Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Betty J. Watson Searfoss, 84, of South Macafee Road, Sayre (Litchfield Township) passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Duane Hunsinger on Thursday morning, April 17, 2014.

Betty was born on Aug. 11, 1929 in Garnett, Kan., a daughter of the late Theodore R. and Ollie (Mattison) Barker. A devoted mother and grandmother, Betty treasured the time spent with her family. Lovingly known and remembered by her family as "Big Red," her quick wit and spunky characteristics will share a special place in their hearts. Betty enjoyed gardening, crocheting, fishing, watching classic movies with her daughter and a good glass of wine.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Ollie Barker; her husband's Ward Edward Watson in 1967; Harold R. "Dutch" Searfoss in 2000; daughter, Wardina L. "Sissy" Watson in 1969; a infant son; son, Terry L. Watson in 1987; grandson, Michael Watson; and great-grandson, Chad Anthony Watson, Jr. Betty will be forever remembered and forever missed.
