Dear Simon & Eissner Family,
So sorry to hear about BettyAnn's death. We did not have as much contact with her as we would have liked. But we know that she had a great spirit for life, giving and adventure. She touched many lives and will be missed by all.

I am sorry to hear about the death of your wife. It seems we are never prepared for loss of a loved one. May you remember all the wonderful times you had together through all the years.

Dave,
I am very sorry for the loss of BettyAnn. I have known you and her
for almost twenty years.
I cared a great deal for her. She
was very special to me.
I am very upset and feel very guilty for not being there.
Being an Easter weekend I could not
get anybody to take care of my accounts. Please understand I tried
my best.
That is one thing I really hate about my business.
I hope you understand.
Love to everyone,
Gary

Dear David,
I was so sorry to hear of the death of your wife. Perhaps the following quotation may be of some comfort in dealing with your sorrow.
C.S.Lewis' Shadowland was the topic discussed in a recent eulogy Barbara and I attended for a dear friend. The Rev. Dr. John Guest of Christ Church delivered the eulogy and it certainly helped us cope with the passing of this friend.
Shadowlands (in retrospect…)
"They did not receive the things promised... they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth... they are looking for a country of their own... they are longing for a better country - a heavenly one... He has prepared a place for them.”
- Hebrews 11:13-16
Our sincere condolences.

Dear family---I knew and admired Betty Ann from the very early days of Call For Action, and loved her exhuberant, pioneering spirit. How wonderful that Dollar Energy Fund is one of her legacies.
