Betty Tinney Obituary
She is survived by her niece, Jane Bryant Powell (Larry Cost), her sister-in-law Nell Moody Bryant, her brother-in-law, John Tinney, special friends Anne and Hollis Seal and Betty Moore, and dear neighbors Ed and Veleta Shaw and Joe Karr.
The family would like to thank the staff of Birmingham Hematology & Oncology for their care, and especially appreciate the doctors and nurses on 5th West at Trinity Medical Center for their kindness during her last few days.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Leeds.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Betty's family. I appreciate getting the chance to work with Ms. Betty at Lehigh cement. She enjoyed her job greatly and touched a lot of people's live in her lifetime. She will be truly missed.

Words of comfort simply cannot meet the magnitude of your loss. May the God of all comfort grant you peace in your hour of sorrow 1 Corinthians 1:3. I didnt know Mrs Tinney, but she sounded like a wonderful, strong, caring woman. And I know she will be deerly missed. May all the wonderful memories she left behind comfort you in this time of need.
