Betty Williams Obituary
Betty graduated from Highline of Burien in 1955. She was married to Douglas H. Williams September 8 1962, and celebrated her 50th Golden anniversary in 2012.
Betty worked and had a career with the Boeing Company as an executive secretary for 35 years and retired early at the age of 57.
She had a passion for reading books, which she traded with several friends and loved to travel; Hawaii, California and Florida. Betty had a special way of identifying with people and was very much adored by everyone.
She was survived by her son Kelly D. Williams and shared daughter Summer P. Taggart. Christopher L. Williams, twin brother of Kelly passed away 7 years earlier.
Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM, August 19, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 6701 - 30th Ave SW Seattle, WA 98126.

Betty will always hold a special place in our hearts. I was so honored to have her as my matron of honor for our wedding. Her humor was always right out there for all to see & hear as was her beautiful smile. As my sister-in-law she was always a delight to have around, no matter the occasion.

Doug, although we met Betty and you many years ago our times together were much to brief. Even, so we came to know and love you both. Betty was a beautiful gracious lady and we will miss her warm smile. Our thoughts are with you during this time.
