Mrs. Beverley H. McKee, 83 passed peacefully Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A receiving of friends will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2015, at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 North Elm Street.

Beverley was born June 27, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Barnes B. and Juliana Elizabeth Naujok Hickman. She retired from Burlington Industries as an assistant purchasing agent.

In addition to her parents, Beverley was preceded in death by her step-mother, William "Billie" Patricia Hickman; husband, Fred Gaston McKee and her brother, Barnes B. Hickman, Jr. She is survived by her children, Fred "Buddy" G. McKee, III, Robert "Bobby" Glenn McKee, Kathryn "Kem" M. White and her husband Scott and Steve Michael McKee.

I remember Beverly from the days I worked at Burlington Industries in the late 70's - early 80's. She was funny- always smiling and had the "best cheekbones" of any woman I ever saw. Just a delight to be around! God Bless.

Beverley McKee will be missed by all who knew her. I worked with her daughter for many years and consider her a cherished friend. Our prayers go out to this family.
