Lori Brown, 50, of Raeford passed away September 18, 2025.
Born in Cumberland County, she is the daughter of Tony & Kimberly Gilmore Adcox.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, D.C. Gilmore & Dora Gilmore and her paternal grandmother, Shirley Adcox.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael Brown; daughter, Lauren Brown Pate & husband Gatlin; sons, Alexander Hollingsworth, Joshua Brown & future daughter in law Lauren Alfano, step son, Andrew Brown; grandchildren, Nathan Pittman, Bailee Brown, Nolan Pate and waiting the arrival of Nellie-Grace Lorraine Pate; sisters, Angie Adcox, Elizabeth Bowen & husband Jason; nieces Madison Pfeffer, Callie Bowen; nephews Spencer Haney, Gavin Bowen, Mason Belanger; father & mother in law, Lamont & Debbie Brown; sister in law, Amy Brown; fur babies, Ramsey, Emmie and Chico.
Lori found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved walking along the beach, collecting sharks' teeth and seashells with her favorites. She cherished time spent with her family, especially keeping up with her beloved grandbaby, Nolan. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed reading thrillers, relaxing with episodes of Bones, and patiently working on puzzles. Above all, she found happiness in caring for her loved ones and sharing her time with them.
