Mrs. Davis reflected the chief dominant quality of the True God (Love). She poured her soul into all of us so that we would do the same to all whom we shall meet and teach. She was our mother, our friend, our counselor, and most importantly, our TEACHER. I look forward to the day when the True GOD will awaken her to live as long as he live in a paradise that will never be brought to ruin. Thank you Mrs. Beverly D. Davis your last words too me will always be a source of light. Your students will love you always. (Former F.F.E.A. Student President, DPHS)

Mrs Beverly Davis... She was one of those people who got through to you. She listened, she cared, she understood, but you better come to her correct! lol... To me she is that person that stood out, that adult that I just admired and respected so highly. I do regret, however, not seeing about Mrs. Davis earlier. I wanted her to be super proud of me, her opinion was so pure and carried so much weight, that I most certainly did not want to disappoint. To her husband and daughters, You have my deepest condolences. She spoke about you almost often, I felt as if I knew you all personally. Thank you for sharing her! For years, I heard Mrs Davis kept the leopard coffee mug and balloons, I gave to her when leaving her class and moved to the next grade. Mrs Davis you are missed and loved!!! KISSES TOWARD HEAVEN!!! I THANK GOD FOR YOU!

Mrs. Davis hands down was the best teacher at Dr. Phillips. She had a way of getting through to her students in a remarkable way. I loved going to her class because I could laugh and learn. During my senior year in high school I was her student aid, and during that time she would talk to me about how to be sucessful in college. She was a great teacher and mentor and will forever be missed.

Joyce/Ronald & Siblings: Beverly is in the best possible place to be--in "God's Memory". Those who never got to know her personally will see her in the New Paradise Earth soon to come (Acts 24:14). God needed another beautiful flower in His marvelous garden. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with Grandmother/Granddaddy Gause, Sister/Brother Gause, her mother and other loved ones.

It is our prayer that God comfort your family during your bereavement.

Dear Family of Mrs. B. Davis:
I am sincerely sorrowful to learn of the passing of the loving angel of your family. She was my sophmore English teacher and I've always acknowledged her as my favorite Teacher @ D.P.H.S. Even after moving ahead I would still drop by her class(even if it meant being late to the next *smile*) to speak and briefly chat with her. I was very fond of her, she was a very genuine woman who knew how to entreat others, especially young people...I know that she will be greatly missed and it is my prayer that her spirit and the seeds that she imparted will live on and multiply through you all and those that she imparted into and had great impact on. I celebrate her life and all that the Lord allowed her to fulfill. You all are in my prayers, May God grant you the comfort and strength, and peace that surpasses all understanding, needed in this season. God Bless You all

Beverly became my guiding angel after I meet her this year in a teacher workshop. I travel a lot and she gave me a little angel to protect me on my adventures. Now I know she will be with me as my guiding angel as I travel around the world, as she would have like to too.

Beverly was always a great encouragement to me personally as I have been teaching at DP for a short while. She kept such a positive outlook on life and seemed to always think the best of others. I will remember her smile and her willingness to help. Her care for her students was obvious. I will miss her and I will remember in prayer her family-- her dear daughters and husband as they begin the journey of grieving this deeply painful loss. May Beverly's faith be a comfort to her family in the coming days

Beverly was my classmate, my friend, my confidante and my sister in Christ. We go back a long way. She was very instrumental in my coming to know the Lord. She loved people and people loved her. I will miss her so much, but I know that I will see her again. To Ernest, Shay, Angel and the family, be encouraged in knowing that Beverly had a personal relationship with a God who holds the whole world in His hands. I'll be praying for you.

Mrs. Davis was my favorite teacher. She was the one who believed in me. It was because of her that I stayed in school and graduated from high school on June 3, 2009. She always supported and helped me as I went to Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, and Lithuania. It was my joy to always bring her a souvenir from wherever I travelled. I will really miss you, Mrs. Davis. You were the very, very best teacher. Thank you for every effort and always saying, "Stop the foolishness!" You were my angel and God needed you most. God comfort your family. Love, Will
