Beverly Joan Gordon, 88, a 62 year resident of Pasadena who was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away suddenly on February 17, 2023 in the hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Gordon was born on July 14, 1934 to the late George and Lillian Spitzler. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beverly first and foremost loved all things chocolate. She liked flower gardening, and feeding the birds and animals who visited her yard. She took great pride in her beautiful décor and personal adornments. She especially enjoyed shopping, dining out and Oldies music, but most of all her beloved Elvis Presley. In recent years she was obsessed with anything the color purple. And for the past 5 years she found her greatest joy, at the Senior Center Plus Program with MD Department of Aging. They have provided her with true quality of life, doting on her and loving her like family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gordon is preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Gordon, Sr., and her brothers, Carson and Raymond Spitzler. She is survived by her Daughter, Vanessa L. (Marc) Morton of Pasadena; Sons, Paul W. (Kathy) Gordon of Linthicum, Howard B. (Paula) Gordon Sr. of Minnesota, Robert K. (Sharon) Gordon Jr., John M. Gordon, and James E. (Susan) Gordon, all of Pasadena; Sisters Peggy Brumwell of Delaware and Janet Gordon of Baltimore; brother, Wayne Spitzler of Baltimore; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
